Hello! Welcome to the Wilder Family Homestead.

Who Are We?

We are a self-employed homeschooling family of 5 living on 2 acres on the west side of Washington state. All three of our kids are ages 5 and under, adding an extra element of fun to our adventures! Each day brings us one step closer to realizing our homestead dream.

My Homestead Dream

My dream is to raise my children wild and free on our little homestead, surrounded by nature. I want them to be able to walk around picking berries and pulling carrots out of the earth, eating them right there on the spot. To learn self-sufficient skills like gardening, cooking and animal caretaking. To develop a strong work ethic that will serve them well in their lives. To be educated at home, encouraged in their particular interests and to be loved and cherished for exactly who they are. We are still working on the gardens and animals, but love? We have that in spades!
